Location

WE MEET YOU

We are situated eight kilometres from the main entrance to Addo Elephant National Park and less than an hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth, in the magnificent malaria-free Sundays River Valley.

Road transfers can be arranged from Port Elizabeth Airport and air transfers in light aircraft can be arranged from anywhere in the country. Let us know if we can assist.

RECOMMENDED ROUTE

About 112km / 80 min drive from PE airport.

  • From the airport head towards the sea and get onto Settlers Way (M4) which becomes the N2
  • Take the N2 North, past Colchester/Sundays River Mouth, in the direction of Grahamstown
  • After about 60km you’ll reach Nanaga, where the road splits into three: N10, N2 and R72 – Tip…there’s one of South Africa’s most famous farm stalls at this junction – definitely worth a stop!
  • Continue northwards on the N10 for 21km to Paterson
  • At Paterson turn onto the R342 in the direction of Addo. For a good portion of this road you’ll have the National Park on either side and one often spots big game here
  • After 23km you’ll pass the main entrance to Addo Elephant National Park on your left
  • Continue (the road is now confusingly called the R335) for 8km and find us on the right hand side.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

About 65km / 50 min drive from PE airport.

We DO NOT recommend this route for safety and security reasons. Please rather take our recommended route, even if your navigation app is suggesting this shorter one!!!

  • From the airport head towards the sea and get onto Settlers Way (M4) which becomes the N2
  • Take the N2 North towards Grahamstown
  • Shortly after Bluewater Bay turn left onto the R335 (signposted Motherwell/Markman/Addo)
  • Continue for approximately 43km to Addo village
  • Drive straight through Addo village in the direction of Addo Elephant National Park
  • We are 5km after Addo village on the left hand side.
